George Cotter, President, Marketplace Chaplains, Plano, Texas
George Cotter came to Marketplace Chaplains after a 25 year career as owner and operator of his own business. At the age of 40 George became a believer and follower of Jesus Christ; from that point on his values and priorities changed. For several years George was part of the leadership team of the Dallas men’s Bible Study Fellowship and was one of the teachers with Dallas Exchanged Life Ministries. George started with Marketplace Chaplains as a part time chaplain, was hired as the Metroplex and West Texas Division Director then Southwest Region Director. George received an Aeronautical Technical degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University, and a Masters in Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. George and his wife, Jean, have two grown children.
Shane Satterfield, Executive Vice President Division Operations, Plano, Texas
Shane Satterfield joined Marketplace Chaplains in 2007 after a 15-year career beginning at Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA as Minister of Education and concluding as Executive Pastor at Marcus Point Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. He has served Marketplace Chaplains as Area Team Leader over Western Georgia, then Georgia Division Director, and as Region Vice President. Shane currently serves as Executive Vice President Division Operations overseeing and leading 35 chaplain leaders across America. Shane earned an Associate’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Christian Education in 2003 from Southwest Seminary. He and his wife Shonda reside on the north side of Atlanta and have two children, Jacob and Mackenzie.
Jim Tereschuk, Executive Vice President Major Companies, Plano, Texas
Jim Tereschuk joined Marketplace Chaplains in 2006, bringing over 20 years of facility and business operations management experience gained through service at companies with operations in the western and central U.S.A. and Canada. He has served Marketplace Chaplains as a Chaplain, Area Team Leader and Division Director in the Dallas and Oklahoma Divisions for 6 years. He has also provided outreach and care to families of the DFW area for over 25 years as a member, ministry leader, and adult teacher at the First Baptist Church of Dallas. Jim received his B.A. degree from Wheaton College and has a M.A. degree in Christian Leadership. He is married to Sylvia, who serves in administration for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School District. They are residents of Frisco, TX and have two daughters and three grandchildren.
Chris Paine, Director of Railroad Chaplains
Chris began serving with Marketplace Ministries, Inc. in 2011, and one of his roles was to assist the Railroad Chaplains leadership with administration and operations. Through the years his role within operations has expanded, and in 2016 he was named Director. Prior to coming to MMI, he worked in youth ministry with K-Life and spent his summers working at Kanakuk Kamps. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and earned his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2009. In addition to working for MMI, Chris also serves as a chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves. He is married to Stephanie and they have three children: Tyler, Madelyn and Cooper.
Sam Chacko, Director of Connect Care
Sam has had the privilege of serving with Marketplace Ministries, Inc. since May of 2006. He serves in the Accounting Department and his responsibilities include client billing and financial statements. In 2016, he began serving as the Director of our Connect Care Program – serving remote and offsite employees of our client companies. Sam has a degree in Accounting as well as a Masters in Divinity. In addition to serving at MMI, Sam also serves as the Lead Pastor at LOFT City Church in Richardson, Texas. He has been married to Ann since 2003 and they have three wonderful children: Nicole, Timothy and Micah.
